I thought that this would be a good opening Post for the new Blog (name subject to change), and indicative of the subject matter I’d like to put here. I’m hesitant to define “subject matter” because my net is rather wide already, and I’m likely to widen it further as we go along! So, since I’m still really busy learning/prepping/renovating (with attendant headaches) and have no time to really open up here yet, and in the interests of keeping it simple, here’s a preview of Things to Come…
Along with metaphysics, ancient wisdom and comparative religion served as the basis of my research going into the Story. Living in a much less-cluttered world, these peoples were better-tuned to understanding life’s purposes than most religions to come after them. Maybe because it wasn’t so much a “religion” as a way of life. This list of “Rules for Being Human” is originally from the ancient Sanskrit, and offer simple, elegant suggestions and guidelines that still apply to this day. ( And excuse the “trail” typo in #3, should be “trial” but that ought to be obvious
)
Sounds right to me
