Wishing all visitors the happiest of Christmas wishes, and the hopes that they might bring some positive magic into your lives
?
“Magic” is a very flexible term; we recognize it in all sorts of different ways but refuse to attribute that “occultish” word to them. But it exists, in all of these different ways, whether synchronicity, serendipity, strange phenomena, mysterious visitations, or?miracles. However you celebrate Christmas, or even whether you recognize it, I hope that it is a magically happy season for you and your loved ones and friends and associates.
At some point though do bear in mind the significance of this day, and the mystery, miracles, and yes, Magic that was and is the result of its place on the calendar. And also know that there is much that we do not know, and in reality, pretty much anything is possible, given the laws of materiality and physics. Or even meta-physics
In any event, enjoy your Self… and try to see It.
Since matters of an “invisible” nature are difficult for me to express, please allow me to share with you the sentiments of someone who does express them quite eloquently and in such a?heartfelt and moving manner, my Most?Treasured Artist, Kate Bush. Here, from a Christmas Special from some time ago, she presents her?lovely single?”December Will Be Magic Again”… and as you listen, please consent to her request (as she wrote for the liner notes of her first record), “Please feel it.”
And since for much of the world these are cold and aggravating times?(not to mention the?weather!), I?want to?share with?you the B-side of her above-mentioned single, “Warm and Soothing”… with a mug of warm eggnog it’s just the thing to beat the bitter cold! I tried to find a live clip but there are precious few of those. Instead, please enjoy the great collection of photos, listen to the music and the lyrics, and be warmed
(And if you aren’t familiar with her Work, feel free to check out?her other Youtube videos; she’s such an amazing talent. If you’re curious about how she relates to my Work, see her page atop Alastor’s main menu. But words just don’t suffice… and (to paraphrase Robert Wyatt) they do take the place of meaning…)
Love, Peace, and Happiness to you and yours
